Our signature Charlotte Chinese Chippendale dining chair in custom color!  Our Charlotte Chinnese Chippendale is hand carved from solid mahogany, with faux bamboo finish, classic Chippendale back, and a beautiful upholstered linen seat. The Charlotte & Ivy Chinese Chippendale dining chair is hand carved comes standard in white or balck lacquer paint or french stain. Or custom order in your perfect color!! These custom made chairs are expertly designed and solidly crafted. We love the elegance of the shape and the tapered legs. These chairs offer the refined grace demanded in a very formal dining room but can still be fabulous in a casual setting. 

The classic Chinese Chippendale style dates back to the 18th century but complements both modern and traditional decor styles beautifully. Match these dining chairs to a mahogany or a painted wood table for a dining room everyone will envy.

Seats: The chairs feature a seat cushion with very dense foam for strong quality back support. All our chairs come with a classic upholstered seat in the standard French cream linen color.  Chair seats screw in and out and pop out for easy re-upholstery to change out the fabric.

The top of the wood on the seat is 18.25 and the foam rises 2" inches above that and compresses down when seated.

In stock! Our 24th shipment arrived and colors are in stock now but go quickly. We recommend reserving asap to get the color and numbers for a set from our incoming shipment. Previous shipments have sold out very quickly.  

OTHER NOTES:  The standard color Charlotte Chinese Chippendale chairs ship in a minimum quantity of two chairs, for safe travel. Chairs are priced individually.  Consider adding white glove delivery to your final order to help unwrap each chair in the room of your choice and remove packaging material. Each chair is packaged with many layers to protect them in transit. Custom painted orders have a minimum of 5 chairs.

*CUSTOM PAINT COLOR with any Benjamin Moore/Sherwin Williams paint code color any paint code is now available for $125 up-charge for side or $149 for arm chairs at our custom shop with minimum qty of 5 total chairs.  We do this service at our cost so it is very affordable for customers.  Once we have your paint selection we will send you a customized email to once again verify your color choice.  If you aren't sure which color you may still buy the chairs as we are able to hold your chairs while you decide so you get the number you need.. Our custom chair painting is done with a high quality lacquer base paint.  They are painted with many beautiful coats and take the custom painters approximately 4-5 weeks. We recommend customers do our standard sheen suggestion which is satin lacquer which has some glossiness, but can also do gloss lacquer for super wet gloss look if you request it.  The satin lacquer is similar to a semi gloss latex so it is already very shiny.
